Yes, The Kingsmen are a rock band and Kingsman is a successful movie franchise. But trust us, we are not Top 10 musicians nor actors in an award winning film! So why did we choose this name? The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment uses the rank "kingsman" as the lowest rank; equivlant to "private" among the United States enlisted ranks. We are not in the British army, but we are in the army of God. As members of the Kingdom, we are in a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, 1 Corinthians 16:13 says that we need to be on alert, stand firm, act like men, and be strong. But, as James 4:10 says, we must do so while humbling ourselves before the King. This is why we are Kingsmen - the lowest rank - in the army of God. So why is this relevent, to you, in your daily life? As men, we wear many hats: son, husband, father, employer, employee, etc. These things can bring happiness and fulfillment. But they can also bring about stress, frustration, and disappointment; among the many other issues we sometimes struggle with as men. When these evils come, and we all experience them, we don't always know how to combat against them. As an average group of men from all walks of life, we don't have all the answers. But as Kingsmen, we serve a King who leads us to answers we seek. That is why we exist: to find and equip men (including ourselves) to serve our King, and each other, to the best of our abilities.

To turn men into disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:19) through strengthening of the spirit (Luke 1:80), equipping for spiritual battle, (Ephesians 6:12) and doing good works (Ephesians 2:10) so that no man is left behind (Romans 15:1-2).

Equip
Equip the man with what it takes to become the husband, father, and leader God's created him to be.

Engage the man through the door of adventure to awaken him into a life where there's more than just living and dying.

What We Believe.
There is a war raging
There is a war raging on, but not with flesh and blood. It is the Kingdom of God against evil forces and we are all engaged in that war wheather we see it or not. Ephesians 6:12
God equips us for battle
Like any good king, God equips those in His kingdom with the tools necessary for fighting in this war. He gives us a full set of armor: belt, breastplate, shield and a helmet; along with peace knowing we are ready. Ephesians 6:10-18
